Tetbury ....... a worthwhile visit

Tetbury

Tetbury is a picturesque market town in the Cotswolds. It lies on the site of an ancient hill fort on which an Anglo-Saxon monastery was founded around 681.

There are lots of independent shops including the well-known Highgrove Shop. Royalty has always been linked to Tetbury as Highgrove, the official residence of HRH The Prince of Wales is situated just outside Tetbury.

There are quite a few coffee shops in Tetbury but the quaint coffee shop, The Two Toads, caught my eye.

The cuppuccinos were steaming, the breakfast tasty and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is cosy and inviting inside. Don't be deceived by its size as there is a spacious tea garden out back as well. All in all, a good choice for a coffee stop ( and breakfast too! )

A cosy interior.

Watch out for some photos from the Cotswolds next time ...........
